Notice: Summer School on Intellectual Property in Croatia

Since 2008, the State Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Croatia (DZIV) has organized the International Summer School on Intellectual Property in Croatia in co-operation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

WIPO Summer School on Intellectual Property in Croatia is one of several summer schools held in various parts of the world according to the program of the original WIPO Summer School on Intellectual Property held at the WIPO headquarters in Geneva. The program lasts two weeks, held in English, and the number of attendants is limited to 30. The Summer School Program covers the most important areas of intellectual property and is implemented through lectures, case studies, exercises and group discussions. Upon successful completion of the school, participants will receive a certificate of attendance. The aim of Summer School is to provide opportunity for home and foreign senior students and young professionals to gain more knowledge on intellectual property and to understand its value as a driver of economic, social, cultural and technological development.

This year's 8th Summer School will be held in Zagreb from May 27 to June 7, 2019 in cooperation with the University of Zagreb.
