World Intellectual Property Day

Mostar, April 23, 2019 - Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina celebrates World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, 2019.

As part of the celebration of the World Intellectual Property Day, the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina organizes Doors Open Day of the Institute.

At the headquarters of the Institute in Mostar, in the building of joint institutions at Kneza Domagoja bb, as well as at the branch offices in Sarajevo (Hamdije Ćemerlića 2/XVIII - Energoinvest building) and Banja Luka (Akademika Jovana Surutke 13/III), Doors Open Day will be held from 09:00 to 12:00 hours, as the employees of the Institute will provide information to all interested parties about intellectual property and its protection.

In 2000, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) member states determined April 26 - the day the WIPO Convention entered into force in 1970 - as the World Intellectual Property Day in order to increase the overall understanding of intellectual property rights.
