Cambodia joins DesignView

The Cambodian Ministry of Industry and Handicraft (MIH) has made its design data available to the DesignView search tool, announced European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

With Cambodia on board, DesignView now contains data from 68 participating offices.

With the addition of 693 designs from Cambodia MIH, DesignView provides information and access to more than 14.5 million designs.

Since the introduction of DesignView in November 2012, the tool has since served almost 4.4 million searches from 169 different countries, with users from the UK, Germany and China among the most frequent users.

The integration of Cambodia MIH in DesignView is one of the concrete results of the ARISE+ IPR programme directed by the European Commission and executed by the EUIPO.
