Online round table on the draft BiH Intellectual Property Strategy held

 

Mostar, April 1, 2021 - Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), held on March 31, 2021 an online round table on the topic "Discussion on the draft Intellectual Property Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2022-2026". 

The discussion was attended by 27 participants, representatives of relevant institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other legal entities, as well as experts in the field of intellectual property who expressed their views on the draft Strategy, and gave useful proposals and suggestions for amendments and improvements of the document.

The Draft Intellectual Property Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2022 to 2026 is prepared as a basic and comprehensive document containing an analysis of the current situation in the field of intellectual property in Bosnia and Herzegovina, mission, purpose, goals and measures aimed at creating conditions for modern intellectual property system in Bosnia and Herzegovina compatible with European standards.

All proposals and suggestions, some of which were presented during the discussion, will be considered and possibly included in the final proposal of this Strategy, which will be sent to the prescribed procedure by the Institute in the next period.
