Round table held in Neum on harmonizing the legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with EU regulations in the field of intellectual property rights

Neum, June 15, 2023 - The round table on the harmonization of the legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the regulations of the European Union in the field of intellectual property rights was held on June 15, 2023 in Neum as part of the International Scientific Consultation "Current Affairs of Civil and Commercial Legislation and Legal Practice", organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Mostar.

The director of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH Josip Merdžo, the head of the project "EU support of intellectual property rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina" Miodrag Marković and expert for copyright and related rights in the same project Luka Novak took part in the work of the round table.

The international scientific conference "Current Affairs of Civil and Commercial Legislation and Legal Practice" takes place on June 15 and 16, 2023 in Neum in four working sessions where the latest achievements of domestic and international civil and commercial law science and practice will be discussed.

A round table on contractual and tort law in theory and practice, and a round table of the Association of Librarians of Law and Related Libraries of Southeast Europe on the topic "Perceptions of the profession of librarian today: examples from practice" were also held at the Consultation.
