Memorandum of Understanding with Serbian IP Office

MOSTAR, November 23, 2015 – Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation in Belgrade on the 16th of November 2015.
The memorandum envisages cooperation in the implementation of training programs in the field of intellectual property designed for employees or the general public, cooperation in search and examination of patent applications in all fields of technology, exchange of experiences in the development of databases and software programs related to the procedures for industrial property rights and cooperation in the preparation of legislation in the field of intellectual property in order to meet the requirements of international conventions and treaties. The MoU establishes a mechanism for achieving mutual cooperation in a way that will suit both sides.
Otherwise, the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH and the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Serbia implemented the cooperation on an informal basis and to mutual satisfaction.
