Change in the Amounts of the Individual Fee:  European Union

From April 25, 2016, onwards, the amounts of the individual fee payable in respect of the European Union will change.

Those amounts will be 897 Swiss francs for the first class of goods or services, 55 Swiss francs for the second class, and 164 Swiss francs for each additional class, when designating the European Union in an international application or subsequently.  Where the mark is a collective or certification mark, the fee will be 1,531 Swiss francs for the first class of goods or services, 55 Swiss francs for the second class, and 164 Swiss francs for each additional class, when designating the European Union in an international application or subsequently.

The same amounts will apply when renewing an international registration in which the European Union has been designated.
