IMPORTANT WARNING: FRAUDULENT INVOICES FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADEMARK - EUIPO

Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in possession of an invoice for the payment of international trademark registration fees to the European Union Intellectual Property Office - EUIPO (former OHIM) based in Alicante (Spain), issued to trademark applicant from Bosnia and Herzegovina by an unauthorized agency "TPP - European Trademark & Patent Publications" (invoice, without applicant's info, is available here).
It is a FRAUDULENT INVOICE that contains correct bibliographic information on the right and the applicant, designed to look like an invoice that comes from an authorized official source, an advocacy agency. Please note that the data indicated on the invoice (applicant, right, appearance of a trademark) are publically available through official EUIPO's registries, accessible to any interested person from any country in the world.
In reference to the above, we are WARNING all trademark and industrial design applicants, authorized industrial property representatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina to pay special attention if they receive similar invoice and not make payments on the order of these or similar agencies, services or organizations, without prior verification.
Also, in case of a doubt as to the authenticity of the invoice, applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina can contact the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of authentication, via official mail: info@ipr.gov.ba
