Exchange of experiences and practices in the field of patents with the Montenegrin IP Office
Mostar, December 1, 2017 - Delegation of the Intellectual Property Office of Montenegro was on a study visit at the head office of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH in Mostar on November 28 and 29, 2017.
At the beginning of the visit, welcoming speech was delivered by the director of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH Josip Merdžo, who also presented the structure, competence and activities of the Institute. Intellectual Property Office of Montenegro was presented to the hosts by Valentina Radulović Šćepanović, acting director of the Office.
Stanko Čolak, patent law specialist at the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH, delivered a presentation on the procedure and processing of PCT applications filed with the Institute.
In the continuation of work, experiences and practices in the field of patents were exchanged.
On the second day of the visit, discussed were concrete examples and issues that are being opened during the processing of applications and requests for registration of extended European patents.
Two-day study visit by the delegation of the Intellectual Property Office of Montenegro to the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina was a continuation of excellent cooperation between two institutions.
