Applications for European Inventor Award opened until September 28th

 

Mostar, September 10, 2018 - Applications for the European Inventor Award 2019, awarded by the European Patent Office (EPO), are open until September 28, 2018.

Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina wants to support inventors that have granted European patent for their invention and invites them to participate in this prestigious competition by submitting a proposal to the Institute for best inventor in order to be recommended for the award.

European Inventor Award is unique in that it honours inventors not only for the genius of their scientific or technological breakthroughs, but also for the impact their invention has on society and the economy, putting a spotlight on the individuals behind the inventions that are changing our lives for the better.

More information about nomination process and criteria, as well as online application form, can be found at https://epo.org/learning-events/european-inventor/nominate.html (it is possible to submit individual application). Basic requirement for the nomination is that inventors must have granted European patent that is valid in the territory of at least one of the member states of the European Patent Organization, and that they have achieved significant technological advances in their field and a high level of inventiveness.

European Inventor Award for 2019 will be held in Vienna, Austria.
