Series of lectures on the protection of computer-implemented inventions held
Mostar, December 6, 2018 - Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), within the D4D project, organized a series of lectures on the topic "Protection of Computer-implemented Inventions", held in the period from 3rd to 5th of December this year.
Lectures were organized within the awareness-raising campaign on the importance of intellectual property, which the Institute has been conducting for two years.
“Diaspora for Development - D4D” is a project of the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH and the Government of Switzerland, in partnership with UNDP BiH and IOM BiH.
Guest lecturer was Mr. Tarik Kapić from Bovard LTD, Bern, Switzerland, a company that deals with intellectual property protection, with a focus on patents. Mr. Kapić is also a European Patent Representative, specializing in the protection of computer-implemented inventions.
Lecturer from the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH was Dragana Marić Mešić, senior associate for patents.
Lectures were held at the Polytechnic Faculty in Zenica and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computing and Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Information Technology in Mostar, with exceptional turnout by professors and students.
